A Naming Ceremony is a wonderful celebration designed to welcome a new person into a loving community of family and friends. Each ceremony is unique and is an opportunity for you to announce the names that you have chosen for your child. As a parent you will make promises of commitment to your child and the hopes that you have for their future.

Naming Ceremonies are also a perfect way of welcoming adopted children into the family, or to celebrate the blending of families, or to honour transgender and non-binary re-naming

Friends or relatives, chosen by you, can take part in the ceremony as ‘Supporting Adults’ who will pledge a special relationship with the child. There is also the option for grandparents and other family members to take part as well, if you choose.This is a moment of great beauty and importance and one that you will treasure for the rest of yours and your child's life.
